What we treat > More Information
What is Urgent Care?
Urgent care is the treatment of any acute illness that must be cared for without waiting until your doctor's office is open or cannot wait for a regular medical appointment. At AfterOurs, you don't need an appointment. We will treat you when you come to the center. AfterOurs is faster and costs less than the hospital emergency department, which is usually the only other alternative for care when your physician's office is closed.
What don't we treat?
Our Urgent Care facility is not equipped like a hospital emergency department (ED). Therefore, patients with a major medical emergency or a health problem that is life threatening should call 911 or go directly to the ED. Examples include chest pain, loss of consciousness, stroke symptoms, excessive bleeding and difficulty breathing.
Unsure about what to do?
If you wonder whether or not you should go to AfterOurs, call 303-861-7878, which connects directly to our Medical Hotline 7 days a week during our office hours. They also can advise about what you can do for your problem at home. |
