Attention Kaiser Patients:
We are a non-participating provider, but if you can pay at the
time of service, we will accept your emergency room co-pay as payment in full.
Pre-authorization generally is not necessary. Check with your
 insurance
provider to confirm level of coverage and referral
 requirements.
Our advanced coding and charting system speeds insurance claim
payments and minimizes questioning of claims/refusal to pay. Lower
total charges also make the claims more acceptable to participating
 insurance companies.
Health Savings Account (HSA) and High-Deductible Plans
A major obstacle to signing up for a Health Savings Account (HSA) or
high-deductible health plan is potential emergency department (ED)
out-of-pocket expenditures. AfterOurs cuts average urgent care costs
by 50%-plus—a substantial savings to HSA and high-deductible plan
members. If, for example, an HSA member is liable for the first $5,000
in healthcare costs, a $2,000 or $3,000 ED tab comes directly out-of-
pocket. Cut that cost by half or more, and the benefits are obvious. |
